Terms of Service

These terms cover how you use the Lorenz website at trylorenz.com (and its mirror at lorenzhq.com). They are intentionally short — this is a pre-launch landing page, not a paid product.

What this site is

The site is informational. It describes Lorenz, a Mac Mini operations hub, and lets you join a waitlist to be notified when it ships. The Lorenz product itself, when released, runs on hardware you own — we don't host your data.

No warranty

The site is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do our best to keep it up and accurate, but we make no promises about availability or fitness for any particular purpose. The Lorenz product is similarly provided without warranty until a release version with its own license terms is published.

Acceptable use

Don't abuse the waitlist form — no automated submissions, no flooding the endpoint, no submitting addresses that aren't yours. Don't try to access the underlying storage or other infrastructure. Standard good-citizen behavior, basically.

Your email

If you submit your email to the waitlist, see the Privacy Policy for how it's handled. You can ask us to delete it at any time by emailing joseph.m.easter@gmail.com.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising out of or relating to the site or these terms will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Michigan.

Changes to these terms

If we update these terms, the new effective date will appear at the top of the page. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
